LOM hosts FX magazine seminar on biophilia

Top designers, architects and clients from the education and hotel sectors were invited to our studio on Friday 30 September to discuss biophilia, the integration of nature within the built environment.

How much is this a growing influence with architects and designers?  Should it be higher on the agenda and how much do specifiers and clients require it or demand it? A good humoured discussion was had with strong opinions on what it’s like to address these issues.

There was no audience – just an honest and frank discussion between key designers and clients, behind closed doors. The main purpose was to have a lively discussion on the implications of biophilia. Who wants it, and why others don’t, can’t, or won’t, embrace it.

We look forward to reading the full article when it’s published in FX magazine.
