LOM architecture and design has developed a model ‘off grid’ primary school concept for client Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB), as part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, that can be rolled out to any part of the west African nation.
Year 4 from Harbinger Primary School in Docklands have won the model-making prize for ‘Disco Bridge’, with a little help from LOM, as part of Open-City’s Architecture in Schools summer programme.
Richard Hutchinson, Director of LOM, will be attending The Higher Education Design Quality Forum’s Annual Conference ‘Future Campus – The University of the Future’ at University of the Arts London.
Disco Bridge and Amazing Holly Bridge were just a couple of the models constructed yesterday by Year 4, Harbinger Primary School in Docklands, with help from LOM as part of Open-City’s Architecture in Schools summer programme.
At this year’s AJ100 Awards Dinner it was revealed LOM architecture and design had climbed 20 places to 96 in the Architects’ Journal annual countdown of largest UK practices, following our début in the special AJ120 of last year.
Finsbury Business Centre has been transformed for Clerkenwell Design Week (24-26 May 2016) with a graphic installation designed by local studios including LOM, together with ABC Imaging.
