The Pinnacle was a high-rise concept designed to create a striking presence on the west London skyline. At over 120m in height and accommodating 28 floors the design sought to create an elegant profile on a busy and constrained site by the M4. The building concept provided 18,500 sqm of office space together with retail and showroom space, a high level viewing gallery and spiral below ground parking.
As part of the design process the building was subjected to technical development including wind tunnel testing, sustainability and energy conservation assessment. The design includes the latest advances in vertical lift transportation, as part of the twin core design and glazing technology in the form of the facades which give the building a lightness reflecting the image of two sails.
