We’re delighted to announce that our net zero development studio for Rare Games, has been ‘Highly Commended’ for Commercial Project of the Year at the 2023 Structural Timber Awards, which celebrates the best in timber building and low-carbon construction materials.
The building develops the barn-style typology of existing buildings on Rare’s campus in rural Leicestershire, referencing nearby agricultural structures and sustaining an emphasis on ecology, amenity, and sustainability. With a timber frame and extensive timber cladding and interior detailing, the studio is an innovative example of timber construction for commercial spaces.
