Ben Taylor | Director

Ben is a director at LOM, specialising in commercial and residential architecture and with a particular interest in how to balance material and structural innovation with sustainability and commercial viability.
He has a particular passion for façade and building envelope design, balancing material and structural innovation with sustainability and commercial viability. He also has an interest in repurposing existing buildings to benefit local communities and promoting innovative building uses and commercial value.
Since joining LOM in 2009, he has helped to win and deliver an number of high-profile projects across the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Notable projects include the National Bank of Oman’s flagship HQ in Oman and Business Bay Towers in Dubai. Ben is currently leading the design of Santander’s 50,000sqm new workplace campus in Milton Keynes, as well as the delivery of Q3 Tigné point – a high-end residential development in Malta.
Ben studied architecture at Newcastle University and the Barlett, UCL. Before joining LOM he worked in Leeds and Toronto, Canada. He is a keen supporter of Huddersfield Town AFC and Yorkshire Country Cricket Club.
