LOM gets set for London Marathon

A team of six architects from LOM architecture and design are running the Virgin London Marathon to raise £10,000 in aid of Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People (QEF).

The practice was inspired to raise vital funds for the Foundation, which helps disabled adults and children gain new skills and increase their independence, while working on a comprehensive masterplan of the charity’s main training campus in Surrey.

Richard Hutchinson, Partner, LOM, said: “Taking part in the London Marathon is a gruelling challenge and takes weeks of tough training so I am particularly proud that 6 people from our team have stepped forward to run and raise money for QEF.”

Jonathan Powell, QEF Chief Executive, said: “Not only are LOM running the London Marathon on QEF’s behalf but they are helping us to create our dream: a state-of-the-art centre of excellence where disabled people can live, work, socialise and access our specialist services.”
