Point Blank

LOM has transformed a Victorian warehouse into an immersive and industry-leading education space for Point Blank Music School, expanding its London campus to support the next generation of music professionals. The project builds on an earlier fit-out completed in 2016, introducing a series of state-of-the-art teaching spaces designed to provide students with hands-on industry experience.

The new facilities include 12 acoustically optimised teaching studios, a performance hub and bar, a library, and a variety of student breakout spaces. Designed to feel more like a professional recording studio than a conventional college, the interiors incorporate high-performance sound engineering studios by Solid State Logic and Dolby Atmos, six music production suites, a Pioneer DJ studio, and multiple vocal and project studios. Every space is equipped with industry-standard technology, ensuring students work with the same tools used by top producers and engineers.

At the heart of the campus, a flexible student hub acts as both a social space and a performance venue, hosting student showcases, networking events, and industry masterclasses. The design blends the building’s industrial character with modern finishes, maintaining original brickwork and iron columns while integrating warm, tactile materials that enhance acoustics and comfort.

By prioritising inclusivity, creativity, and student well-being, the new campus fosters a learning environment where students can experiment, collaborate, and develop their skills in a space that mirrors the industry they aspire to enter.
