Simon Bird | Director

With his passion for strategy and innovation, Simon Bird creates high quality and effective design solutions for clients across a range of sectors.
As a director of the practice, he takes a leading role on strategic, interior and architectural projects. Since joining LOM in 2000, he has delivered multiple residential schemes, schools and colleges as well as high profile workplace projects in the UK and Ireland. He has also developed new models for retail banks around the world including Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean.
Simon studied at the Manchester School of Architecture and completed a Masters research degree in architecture concerning the impact of networked media on physical space. He has also taught studio design at the University of Greenwich and The Bartlett School of Architecture.
