We are thrilled to be a finalist in Building Design’s (BD) Architect of the Year Awards 2018.
BD’s annual celebration of architecture is unique in recognising a body of work across different sectors, judged by a panel of industry experts. LOM architecture and design is a finalist in the Office Architect of the Year category that was open to architects working on the design of offices, whether newbuilt or refurbishments of existing structures. The judges, BD editor Thomas Lane and architecture critic Ike Ijeh, were looking for evidence of all-round design excellence and fitness for purpose over a body of work.
The winners will be announced on April 18 at BD’s Architect of the Year Awards party which is being held at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster Bridge in central London.
LOM is an architecture and interior design studio based in London, with a long standing specialism in workplace design. From beginnings in office fit-out and small mixed use developments we have grown to work with leading businesses in the UK around the world, delivering major head office buildings and innovative work environments.
LOM has always sought to combine a strategic “big picture” of our clients’ business requirements, with a creative approach which seeks out opportunities for the unusual and delightful within often corporate office projects. We are also focused on the end-user, and every workplace project helps to support new ways of working and healthy and sustainable environments which benefit staff.
