Team LOM avoided the torrential rain in London on 16 September and headed to the Forest of Dean as part of our Summer Social 2016. Thirty two of us took to the waters of the River Wye in canoes paddling more than 20 miles, over two days, through the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
From Goodrich to Whitebook the team traversed the Symonds Yat rapids, made some essential pub pit stops and camped overnight in tipis at Monmouth. In addition to messing about on the river we also squeezed in time for archery, barbequing and relaxing.
Thank you to Adventure River for looking after us.
