Simon Marett | Director

Simon has 35 years of professional experience in the design and development of commercial architecture, interior design and workplace roll-outs in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

He has extensive experience designing sustainable people-centred, best in class workplace environments for leading global brands. His recent projects include  Microsoft Rare, an award winning net-zero, creative gaming development studio and The Heart Building, an award-winning wellbeing, training, product development and quality assessment centre.

Simon is passionate about design quality and has a high level of strategic, conceptual and technical expertise. He has led major architectural and interior workplace, experiential & development centres for Microsoft, NatWest Group, Roche, BUPA & SNB. His projects have won BCO, Mixology, BIFM, FX & NLA awards and nominations and he has judged the FX and NLA awards.

He has been a director at LOM for more than 20 years. As part of his role, he takes responsibility for project resource planning, HR and setting design quality standards and business development. Before joining LOM, Simon spent several years with US architects Skidmore Owings and Merrill (SOM) working on large-scale commercial developments and office fitouts.

In 2022 Simon refitted & co-skippered a 1977 Swan 47 yacht in the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC). He is also a Director of a boat yard in Penryn, Cornwall.
