This residential and public realm project is the final phase of MIDI Plc`s development of Tigné Point in Malta. Designed by LOM, the scheme comprises the Q3 residential tower set within 7,000sqm of landscaped public space that contains the Garden Battery – one of a series of 19th century artillery fortifications on the island.
Q3 is designed to maximise views out towards the island’s capital, Valletta and to the Mediterranean Sea. It has a stepped profile to accommodate large penthouse terraces, each with its own swimming pool. The south façade has a staggered plan, with large balconies that provide shading. There are 63 apartments with generous floor-to-ceiling heights and extensive glazing to give them an airy feel.
Four levels of basement car parking are provided for residents so that the upper levels of the scheme are car free.
