At this year’s AJ100 Awards Dinner it was revealed LOM architecture and design had climbed 20 places to 96 in the Architects’ Journal annual countdown of largest UK practices, following our début in the special AJ120 of last year.
Held at the Tower of London, over 600 architects turned out to see where their practice had placed and who had been recognised for a host of special awards. As well as joining the AJ100 for the first time, LOM was also shortlisted for ‘Practice of the Year’ in recognition of its internal promotions, architectural fees and growth but lost out to Hawkins\Brown on the night.
Simon Marett, Director, LOM said: “It is an honour for LOM to be nominated for the AJ100 Practice of the Year and simultaneously début in the top 100. Alongside winning prestigious new projects in the UK and abroad, and a series of new senior management promotions from within the practice, it is another positive step in our development.”
The AJ100 survey has been the definitive record of the UK’s largest practices for the past 20 years and recognises and rewards achievements made by these firms each year. Published annually since 1995, the survey offers a snapshot of the profession over the previous calendar year and measures the level of optimism among practices for the year to come.
