Simon Marett | Director

Simon Marett has more than 30 years of professional experience in the design and implementation of commercial buildings, interior design projects and workplace roll-outs in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

He has extensive experience designing people-centred workplace environments for global brands. His work includes The Heart Building – an award-winning staff wellbeing, product development and quality assessment centre at Tesco`s head office campus in Welwyn Garden City and Microsoft Rare, a net-zero gaming development studio in the English countryside.

Simon is passionate about design quality and has a high level of strategic, conceptual and technical expertise. He has led major architectural and interior workplace and retail banking design projects for Microsoft, NatWest Group, Roche, SNB and BUPA. He has won BCO, Mixology and BIFM awards and nominations for workplace projects and has judged the FX and NLA awards.

He has been a director at LOM for more than 20 years. As part of his role, he takes responsibility for project resource planning, HR and setting design quality standards.

Before joining LOM, Simon spent several years with US architects Skidmore Owings and Merrill (SOM) working on large-scale commercial developments and office fit outs.
