To celebrate one year since we moved to Shoreditch, East London, LOM held a pub quiz on Friday 23 October, and transformed the office into a traditional East End boozer complete with weak lager, peanuts and pies.

LOM AJ120 position revealed
At last night’s AJ120 Awards Dinner it was revealed LOM architecture and design had made its debut in joint 116th place in the Architects’ Journal annual countdown of largest UK practices, after seeing a growth of 30 per cent in the last year.
LOM goes back to school
A class of inquisitive ten year olds from St Paul’s Primary in Whitechapel, went on a school trip yesterday with architects from LOM, to the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) headquarters in Regent’s Park, a post-war modernist masterpiece, designed by Sir Denys Lasdun.
Architects go the distance for QEF
Six architects from LOM architecture and design were among the 36,000 runners who completed the 35th Annual Virgin London Marathon on Sunday 26 April 2015. The team have raised over £10,600, for their chosen charity, Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People (QEF), which helps disabled adults and children gain new skills and increase their independence.

Work nears completion on Kennet House
A previously vacant 1960s office block in the centre of Reading is now a mix of 103 high quality riverside apartments. LOM’s scheme to convert Kennet House for Crest Nicholson successfully gained planning permission in December 2013 and has now been developed and delivered by Crest Nicholson’s own design and construction team.
